The Good Brother has been married 50 years to his wonderful wife Jacqueline with two beautiful daughters Keasha and Janai. Brother Taliaferro had an illustrious career in the private industry in Erie working for GE in leadership positions in the financial and human resources area.
Besides serving as Polemarch, Brother Taliaferro has served in many officer roles in the chapter. Brother Taliaferro was also instrumental with the planning of the Red and White Balls. The Good Brother’s passion for Kappa which is also his message to younger Nupes is the continuous effort towards achievement personally and providing development opportunities for others, especially the youth.
One of his most memorable Kappa moments was during the chartering of the Erie Alumni Chapter. He and a group of Brothers identified a Brother they never met who was away from the frat for many years. After a visit to his home they explained to him that they needed him in the Bond in order to get ten members to qualify for an alumni chapter. He agreed and the group of Brothers “kollaborated” and paid his necessary fees and the Brother was reclaimed back into the Bond! Brother Taliaferro now enjoys spending time with his family in Charlotte.
The Good Brother was honored with his 50 Year Membership Blazer during the ECP Founders’ Day Closed Banquet in Cleveland, Ohio Friday January 20, 2023.
